LET'S WORK TOGETHER!
"... (Pause)... And EXHALE DEEPLY...."
In a yoga class, I often find myself completely engrossed in the sensations within me, only catching the tail end of the instructor's words. It's an incredible feeling to release all that built-up tension with that long final exhale. It reminds me of the importance of remaining present in my body, fully embracing the class, and soaking in my surroundings to truly enjoy the WHOLE experience. With this reminder, I also embrace the full INHALE first.
How often do we forget to do this in our lives? We become consumed with our headspace, thoughts, distractions, emotions, and never-ending to-do lists. We get trapped in repetitive patterns that keep us going in circles, missing out on the beauty of the bigger picture.
When healing from burnout, one of the silver linings is the opportunity it presents to reconnect with our WHOLE Self again.
We take the time to introspect, assess what's happening within us, and consider the changes we need to make in both our inner selves and the external world that surrounds us β the intricate dance of our daily energy exchanges.
Using a holistic approach, I love to explore this with my clients and use various tools to create long-term sustainable changes.
